Kelsey and Max’s wedding day could not have been more joyful! The pair reside in Boston, but they decided to return to Kelsey’s hometown for their celebration. With a ceremony at Lehigh University’s Memorial Church and a reception planned at Saucon Valley Country Club’s Weyhill Guest House, we can understand why. There could not have been two more fitting locations for their classic fete, and Liz Banfield captured every moment.
Both Kelsey and Max got ready at the Weyhill Guest House, but they opted against a first look. They were both in favor of seeing each other for the first time as Kelsey walked down the aisle, and she made a stunning entrance on the arm of her father. After they recited their vows and officially became Mr. and Mrs., their guests joined K+M outside for a bubble celebratory exit! We have to say, this was one of our favorite moments from their entire wedding day.
Once at Weyhill, guests enjoyed cocktails outside overlooking the country club’s picturesque setting steps away from a creek. The August weather was beautiful, which was in stark contrast to the downpour that happened during their rehearsal, and we were so happy for them as Liz captured photos of the bride and groom, plus their friends and family throughout cocktail hour. There is nothing like golden hour portraits!
As Kelsey and Max were welcomed into their Sperry Tent, they went right into their first dance to “Come and Get Your Love” before the rest of the night commenced! Kelsey’s father made a lovely welcome speech, and Saucon Valley Country Club catered the entire fete. Once City Social Band started playing, the dance floor was filled for the entire night (even as rain started to fall outside of the tent)!
