We always love when couples announce they are getting married at Terrain because we love returning to this wedding venue. The space is the perfect oasis away from the city, and the Terrain team keeps the grounds looking impeccable! Each nook and cranny is filled with inspiration for color palettes, décor, and photos (of course!), so we always count down the days until we see the first photos from each fete.
We are so fortunate to work with some of the most stylish brides and groom, and Catherine and Ian are definitely one such pair! They were thrilled to tie the knot at Terrain, and we were just as honored to be by their side throughout their planning and design process.
Catherine took a few moments in the hot house to finalize her vows before getting ready with her friends and family. Some of them couldn’t wait to sneak a peak at the couple’s first look below.
C+I were married in Terrain’s garden, which is steps away from the reception space, and guests were welcomed with light refreshments upon arrival. The garden is a true gem on the property, and the space looked even lovelier with the ivory and greenery filled arrangements from Terrain Design. Post ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the porch before the reception began.
Catherine and The Styled Bride carefully worked with Terrain’s design team on her florals (they turned out beautifully!), and the romantic feel of the bouquets carried over into the reception space. The greens hanging overhead, candles and silk dyed runners lining each table were breathtaking. Plus, Catherine and Ian worked with the Terrain Design team on their printed materials. We know guests felt special as they caught their first glimpse of their carefully calligraphed individualized menus accented with greenery.
With Love & Embers, we cannot get enough of these photos. Catherine and Ian, congratulations again. Terrain, we cannot wait to come back!
