Happy February to you! We may be partial to the spring and summer when wedding season is in full swing, but what could be bad about a month dedicated to pink and red palettes and so much love? February is one of the best months, and it’s also when we always see more brides and grooms celebrating their engagements!
As we mentioned last month, we had a ton of meetings scheduled well before January 1! It was definitely a packed month as we caught up with Love ‘n Fresh Flowers, Maggpie Vintage Rentals, The Morris House Hotel, and so many more! Amid running throughout Philadelphia and beyond, we also received one of the sweetest notes from one of our brides, Monica, about her November wedding. These notes on The Knot are what keep us going!
This month is filled with meetings and final walkthroughs for the start of our spring season. You know how much we adore The Fairmount Horticulture Center, and we have plans to reconnect with our friends at Starr Events to talk through the final details for not one but two March soirees. Plus, we’re going to be seeing a peek of spring through the eyes of Beautiful Blooms, Sullivan Owen, and Falls Flowers. We also have a private tour scheduled so we can see all of University of Pennsylvania’s event spaces – we think they’re one of the city’s hidden gems!

Real Wedding: Emily and Andrew met while they were each completing respective degrees at Vanderbilt University. He started talking to her parents at a Passover Seder hosted by his aunt, and he learned he simply had to meet Emily! Fast forward a few years, and the pair happily settled in Washington, D.C. before their engagement. We LOVED Emily and Andrew’s September wedding day at Barley Sheaf Farm! We mixed vintage details from Maggpie Vintage Rentals, Modern Relics and Party Rentals LTD together with some of the prettiest pink and ivory flowers from Love ‘n Fresh Flowers to create such a lovely look. Emily wore a Marchesa gown, they were married under a chuppah adorned with blooms, and guests danced the night away under a tent complete with a floral backdrop! Now Trending: We received two awards in January! Feedspot announced their picks for the 60 best wedding blogs in the world, and we’re on their list! We’re ranked number 18 on their list, and we’re joined by the likes of Style Me Pretty, Brides, and Green Wedding Shoes.
