Styled Sips with 13th Street Cocktails

The holiday of the summer is finally here!  Like most of you we are taking time to celebrate and enjoying the weekend with friends and family.  So, we asked our friends from 13th Street Cocktails to share their recommendations for the perfect Styled Sips for July 4th!  All of the recipes are below for you to try on your own.

13th Street Cocktails 13th Street Cocktails

“BACK IN THE SADDLE” – A WATERMELON COCKTAIL

Ingredients

2 oz Vodka

.75 oz Fresh Lime

.75 oz simple syrup

.25 oz Campari

2″ cube of watermelon

2 basil leaves

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously.  Double strain over fresh ice.  Garnish with basil.

“FRESH BUCK” – A GINGER COCKTAIL

Ingredients

2 oz Vodka

1 oz ginger cordial

.5 oz fresh lime

Prep Work

Peel and chop ginger into 2 inch sections.  Run through Juice extractor.  Mix ginger juice to simple syrup in a 1 part ginger to 3 part simple syrup ratio.

Directions

Combine all ingredients and shake and strain into a collins glass.  Top with soda.  Garnish with mint.

“DEREK SMALLS” – A CUCUMBER COCKTAIL

Ingredients

2 oz Vodka

.75 Fresh lemon

1 oz Simple Syrup 1:1

1 oz Cucumber Juice

1 Barspoon of Absinthe or Sambuca

Prep Work

Peel and juice English cucumbers.

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously.  Double strain over fresh ice.  Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
