Happy February! We hope you had a wonderful start to 2015. This month is especially special to us because we’re celebrating the anniversary of Susan Norcross, our Wedding Director, joining The Styled Bride. We definitely had an amazing year filled with beautiful weddings, press features, and so many honorable mentions from Martha Stewart Weddings (Top Planner for 2014), The Knot (Best of Weddings 2015), and WeddingWire (Couples’ Choice Award). We have even bigger plans for this year, including launching our workshop series (there’s more info below). Hint: Make sure to stay tuned to our blog because we’re introducing giveaways twice a month – starting with one of our favorite brands in the coming weeks!
In January, we celebrated with Amanda and Ben at their stunning Horticultural Center wedding. We can’t share too much yet, but you’ll find sneak peeks of Amanda’s awesome sneakers designed by her sister, stunning florals by Love n Fresh, and a glimpse of the beautiful head table on Instagram. Real Wedding: We are seriously missing warm weather, so we decided the absolute best thing to do is share Cait and Mike’s wedding with you. Cait and Mike met in high school in Philadelphia, got engaged in Edinburgh, Scotland, and celebrated their September nuptials at the Church of the Gesu at St. Joseph Preperatory School and Waterworks in Philadelphia. With a team of professionals including EventQuip, Eventions, The Papery, Beke Beau, Amanda D’ Andrea, Fleur de Lis, Brendenbecks, and Carnivale, Cait and Mike’s wedding was stunning and will forever be a day we will never forget. Around Town: We’re launching a workshop series, and we hope to see you there! We’ll be announcing more details and dates soon. However, as a special treat for Styled Note subscribers, we can tell you that our first workshop with Kimberly Shrack of Manayunk Calligraphy will be on Sunday, March 8th. Guests will learn the basics of modern pointed pen calligraphy. Mark your calendars! Each of our workshops will be held with a few of our go-to wedding professionals from Philadelphia. We promise you will learn something new and have lots of fun in the process.
