Registration for our Spring/Summer STYLED WORKSHOPS series is officially open!
Our first workshop is a collaboration with the talented Kim Shrack of Manayunk Calligraphy & Stephen Starr Events, where attendees will learn the basics of modern pointed pen calligraphy & nosh on yummy brunch bites.
Kim will teach attendees how to:
- Work and assemble your tools
- Form basic strokes, from hairlines to loops and everything in between
- Script a basic alphabet, including lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols
- Bring it all together to script addresses, escort cards and other flourishes for your big day
Not planning a wedding but still want to learn calligraphy? All are welcome! The skills you learn at this workshop can easily be applied to writing names, creating invitations and sending the fanciest mail. You will be ready to create stationery for your next event or just have really amazing handwriting!
