The Styled Note- June

Happy June to you! We feel like each and every month flies by, but that was especially true in May. Let’s take a look back at May!

Just before we kicked off our whirlwind of wedding weekends, we met with Lauren of L. Priori Jewelry. We think every meeting should include chatting about her beautiful vintage inspired jewelry, and we can’t wait for our couples to wear her designs at their weddings. We also featured Lauren on our blog, and there’s much more below in Now Trending!

Last month, our team coordinated and styled two weddings at The Horticulture Center. We loved transforming this space with two incredible vendor teams to match each couple’s unique style. We also traveled to Stockton, New Jersey for a gorgeous wedding set inside a barn at Stone Rows Farm, Pomme for a brightly colored fete, the fabulous Welkinweir arboretum in Chester County, and Hotel du Village in New Hope for a sweet organically styled day. Although each wedding was so different, many had one common thread: Love ‘n Fresh Flowers! Jennie’s designs are always standouts, and we love collaborating with her and her team (you can also take a peek at Jennie’s Styled Day feature!).

Below, we’re recapping Lauren and Kyle’s Pomme wedding day, chatting with Starr Events about the best way to throw a summer BBQ, and announcing our summer workshops! Make sure to keep reading.

In June, you will find us traveling again, but this time we’re off to private homes in Gladwyne Malvern and Chaddsford, PA, the Ashford Estate in New Jersey, Waterworks in Philadelphia, and Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn. Make sure you’re following along on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest – it’s going to be a great month!

Happy Summer from The Styled Bride Team!

Real Wedding: It may have poured for nearly all of Courtney and Jim’s wedding day, but the weather was not at the top of their minds at all. This sweet pair was so excited to exchange their vows at Pomme, and they could not wait to listen to the heartfelt speeches made by family and friends during their reception. We also loved that C+J spent almost the entire night on the dance floor – it’s the best way to spend your wedding day! We were thrilled to team up with Nancy Saam Flowers, Peachtree & Ward Catering, and Hoffer Photography. There’s much more to see on Hoffer Photography’s blog!

Now Trending: As we mentioned above, we were counting down until our meeting with Lauren Priori of L. Priori Jewelry. Lauren collaborates with couples to design vintage inspired engagement and wedding rings, and it’s safe to say she creates incredible pieces. We are sharing even more with you through Lauren’s Styled Day feature. See how she spends her day on our blog!

What’s your top BBQ tip?
Starr Restaurants: My biggest tip to hosting a BBQ – or any party for that matter – is to always plan ahead.  Your guests are coming to spend time with YOU so making sure you have the right amount of food, drinks, sides, and serving dishes in advance is key for a successful event. Always plan for more than you think you need.
