Happy Friday to you, and welcome to April! This year is already flying by, and we’re sure we will feel that way even more once wedding season kicks into high gear this month. Before we jump into April, let’s take a look back at March.
We are less than 5 likes away from 2,000 on Facebook! To celebrate this milestone, we’re teaming up with our friends at Sullivan Owen to give away a spring floral arrangement for our 2,000th fan. Will it be you? Hop over to Facebook and make sure you like us and Sullivan Owen to enter!
We mentioned last month that we’re welcoming Beke Beau, one of our go-to makeup artists, to the Styled Studio for her BeautySageist Workshop. This weekend’s sessions sold out quickly, and we’re planning to add more workshops to our roster in the coming weeks and months. We will announce them on our blog and social media pages, plus you can always find new workshops on our Workshops page on our site. Keep your eyes open!
Our wedding season begins this month, and we will be styling, coordinating, and celebrating with our many wonderful couples! We’re thrilled to kick off the season at the Horticulture Center, and we will absolutely be posting sneak peeks on Instagram. Are you following us?
Below you will find a roundup of our favorite blog posts from this month, so make sure to keep reading! Thanks so much for your continued excitement about The Styled Note!

Real Wedding: Rather than sharing just one wedding with you, we’re sharing quite a few! Though it was not an easy feat, we managed to cull through all of our weddings in search of the very best tablescapes we have designed to share with you. From tables and chairs to florals, plates, and linens, each element combines to represent your wedding style in your reception space. Some of our couples are drawn to bright shades of pink, and others prefer to represent their style through softer shades of green. You will also see quite a few farmhouse table appearances! A quick tip: white reflects light the most, so white linens will allow each piece on your table to pop that much more on camera. Plus, white will always be in style!

Now Trending: Styled Social Media made a triumphant return to our blog this month, and we loved looking through each post on Instagram and Pinterest to see which ones received the most engagement. Our New Year’s Eve wedding at the Horticulture Center with M2 Photography and Falls Flowers was adored on Instagram, and we’re always happy to see how much our Pinterest followers still favor Lauren and John’s floral arbor designed by Sullivan Owen.
Q: I would love to incorporate green into my wedding color palette! What’s the best way to create the look?
A: Green is not just a popular color for St. Patrick’s Day and the holidays! Instead, green is a great way to add a fresh look into palettes and styles throughout the year. Consider adding a greenery illustration to your invitation for a rustic or organic wedding. Garlands are wonderful for tablescapes, and succulents are a sweet favor for guests! See more here!
Around Town: We happened upon this article about Lauren Priori and L.Priori Jewelry on Philadelphia Wedding, and we want to pop by Lauren’s showroom ourselves! Lauren designs custom engagement rings inspired by antique pieces and estate jewels, and her designs are incredible. During your consult, Lauren will cull through your inspiration and explain how to maximize your design. Then she will begin sourcing pieces locally for you and design your custom ring.
