Robust, earthy, sophisticated, and stylish – just a few of the adjectives used to describe Marsala, Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year. Just like Philadelphia Weddings, we immediately thought of this deeper color as a perfect fit for fall and winter brides when it was announced last week. However, the wine colored shade can be just as lovely during wedding season’s spring and summer months when it’s paired with pastels or brighter hues. We’re imaging filling a versatile palette with shades of Marsala (of course!), red, burgundy, dusty blue, and hunter green.
