We hinted at an upcoming feature for Kate and Jason in our latest Styled Note, and we can finally share it with you! We are thrilled to have Kate and Jason’s waterfront Maryland wedding featured on United with Love. The blog focuses on sharing inspiration and planning how-to’s for couples planning celebrations in Maryland and Virginia. We absolutely adore the area, and we can’t wait for you to take a peek!
Kate grew up spending time at her father’s beautiful waterfront home in Maryland. Throughout their relationship, Jason discovered the property through Kate and became just as infatuated. Once he proposed in their home right after picking up her engagement ring (Jason couldn’t wait any longer!), the pair realized they had the perfect venue for their soiree at their fingertips.
Because K+J wanted the views from the property to shine brightest, we focused on creating a neutral celebration with pops of color and nautical accents. Kate and her bridesmaids carried bouquets filled with ivory blooms and plenty of greenery by Beautiful Blooms, which accented the incredible chuppah fabulously. Inside the tent from EventQuip, a floral chandelier added even more beauty over the dance floor and ivory blooms were paired with greenery again in the centerpieces.
Cocktails, catering, and entertainment were important to K+J, so we turned to our friends from 13th Street Cocktails for drinks, Gourmet by the Bay for a delicious menu, and East Coast Entertainment’s Broadsound for music. It was an unstoppable trio, especially when the cake, which was accented with gold foil, from Turnbridge Point was added to the mix.
Kate and Jason’s wedding was one for the books, and we’re so grateful Paper Antler captured every moment and Lee Russell Films created the ultimate video for all of us to look back on.
