Lisa and Elias were thrilled to welcome their guests to Philadelphia, and we loved planning and styling their wedding day for them in October. Simply put, these two are a joy to be around – something their family and friends already knew about them. Both Elisa and Lisa are proudly from Philadelphia and its suburbs. The pair met because they both decided to “swipe right”, and three years (and many Philadelphia adventures later!), Elisa proposed to Lisa in front of Independence Hall.
The pair are devoted fans to the Sixers and Phillies, and they also are passionate about Philadelphia’s history, music, and cuisine scenes. As a result, both L+E wanted to encourage their guests to explore Philadelphia and all of its incredible sights before and after their wedding day. With its modern style and location in the heart of Philadelphia’s action, The Logan Philadelphia Hotel was an obvious (and wonderful!) voice for their wedding venue. It’s a great bonus that it’s a space we love too!
On their wedding day, both Lisa and Elisa spent the morning getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen separately. Once set, they saw each other for the first time during their first look in the courtyard of The Logan. The modern scene of the courtyard provided the perfect backdrop for them! Alison Dunn Photography captured portraits of the couple with their wedding party just after, and then their ceremony got underway inside the hotel where Lisa walked down the aisle with her father.
Some of the most beautiful décor of our fall wedding season awaited guests inside The Logan’s ballroom. Calla lilies, orchids, roses, and more in shades of pink, purple, ivory, and green looked fabulous throughout the space. But, we never expect anything less from Margaux and her team from Fleur de Lis. With such beauty awaiting them, Lisa and Elias couldn’t wait to enter the space for the first time, and we love the excitement on their faces! Once they entered, the dance floor remained packed for the entire night thanks to EBE Entertainment.
From the incredible vendor team to the fun that surrounds Lisa and Elias always, we won’t soon forget this wedding.
