Kristin and Carl met at Saint Joseph’s University and now call Philadelphia home. But when starting to plan their wedding Kristin wanted to bring their family and friends to her childhood hometown of Brooklyn and having the backdrop of the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan could not have been more perfect. The couple’s favorite parts of the night were their first dance and last dance – they surprised their guests by starting with Grow Old With Me from The Wedding Singer and then transitioned to the much faster You Make My Dreams Come True. The night ended with Shout and Kristin spent the whole song on Carl’s shoulders dancing above all of the guests, really getting to appreciate and feel all the love in the room!
