The couple each knew one another since high school and have been friends for years. The timing was never right but they always stayed close. Francis (aka Pat), who is in the military, returned from Iraq in 2009 and when they connected again the timing was finally right.
Amber’s favorite part of the day was just being able to relax and enjoy every minute. She made sure to remind herself throughout the evening to just take a minute to really remember everything that was happening, as everyone says it goes by so fast.
