Karen and Jeremy met on the first day of their internship at Pennsylvania Hospital. They were the first two interns to show up at a social event and quickly got to talking. When they exchanged phone numbers, they were excited to learn they had the same area code. As the year progressed, they realized that they had more than just an area code in common. Their senior residents frequently tried to set them up, and though they resisted at first, they eventually realized they were meant to be together.
