The Luck of the Irish: St Patrick’s Day Wedding Inspiration

To us, St. Patrick’s Day requires collecting the very best (and prettiest) pieces of inspiration in order to honor a holiday where emerald is definitely the color of choice and four leaf clovers are the must-have detail. But, we dug a little deeper to learn about Ireland’s wedding traditions. A bride and groom’s hands are wrapped together to signal “tying the knot”; horseshoes are an ever-present detail for luck; brides typically opt for braids to represent their own strength; and a bagpiper playing traditional music is a classic way to celebrate the newlyweds and welcome guests to the reception. Here’s how we would style a wedding with St. Patrick’s Day in mind:
