Happy September! Welcome to the second edition of The Styled Note. This month marks the start of a new season of weddings. A shift in palettes and venue styles, there’s definitely something to love about celebrations in the fall. But before we completely move ahead, let’s celebrate August, which was very full!
It’s safe to say that our Styled Spotlight series is a new favorite among our blog readers. The highlight of this series is introducing some of our beloved local vendors to you each month. These are professionals we look to time and time again, and it’s a privilege to provide you with the inside scoop behind their Philadelphia favorites, inspiration, and more. In August, we sat down with Margaux of Fleur de Lis, so make sure to catch her full interview.
Celebrating our couples’ joyful new season at their weddings is wonderful, and Philadelphia provides a bevy of unique venue options to do just that. We adored traveling to Lancaster for Lauren and John’s stunning rustic wedding at The Farm at Eagles Ridge (more on this fete below!). Plus, we were able to switch styles and plan an elegant and modern soiree for Lindsay and Dan at Pomme (not to mention view one of our favorite bridesmaid trends – metallic dresses – in person).
Yes, August was a full month, but we’re so excited to move into September. We hope you’ll follow along on Facebook and Instagram as we share more behind-the-scenes glimpses in between now and the next edition of The Styled Note.
Real Wedding: Even though John created a study group that met just once in law school, he was so fortunate Lauren chose to attend. The two would later get engaged as a result of their first study group, and we feel so fortunate to have been on hand to plan and style their stunning wedding at the Farm at Eagle’s Ridge. The details felt rustic, glamorous, and very organic (read: the prettiest bouquets), and the relationships these two share with their friends (and each other) are so filled with joy. {Photo by Brooke Courtney}
Now Trending: Metallic bridesmaid dresses are a great way to bring a bit of glam into your overall style. Asking your ‘maids to all wear the same dress is always an option, but we love seeing girls mix and match their styles together to create a cohesive look too.
