Fun Food Trends for Weddings

A relaxed, communal, casual dining culture has emerged in the restaurant scene and its making its way into our wedding culture. This year’s wedding receptions are sure to feature kitschy snacks, small-batch goodness and artisan pastries

Eclairs – Move over French Macarons, there’s a new Parisian treat in town. Eclairs, with gourmet flavors such as pistachio, eggnog and chocolate raspberry are the new it pastry of 2014!

Food Trucks  –  no more lines at the buffet or waiting at the table for you food to be served. Line up several trucks with everything from tacos  to crepes and you will be sure to please everyone’s pick palettes!

Gluten-Free Menu Options – Celiac disease can be a challenge and there are amazing options for guests that need to go gluten free – whether omitting gluten all together or adding substitutes for starches – anything can be made gluten free right down to the wedding cake.

Vintage-Inspired Bar Carts – Bar carts, a trend ushered in by retro shows such as Mad Men, have multiple uses. Roll them in to serve specialty libations during cocktail hour, serve desserts or after dinner drinks, even late night snacks can be brought in stylishly with these vintage carts.
